Description

Baros is an island belonging to the Maldives, an island nation in the Indian Ocean (595 km south of India and 650 km southwest of Sri Lanka) consisting of about 1,190 coral islands grouped in a double chain of 26 atolls. Only 185 islands are inhabited with 300,000 population; most islands are used entirely for economic purposes of which tourism and agriculture are the most dominant.
