The Big Sur region is located between Los Angeles and San Francisco bay area and goes about 89 miles (143 km) along California Highway 1. It represents 160,000 acres (64750 hectare) of wilderness, ten national parks, hot springs, waterfalls and miles of solitude. What Makes It Special

Fall during the Indian summer is the best time to go. Plan two or three days just to get a feel of the place.One day must see McWay Waterfall Trail and the Ewoldsen Trail take you along the Big Sur Ocean coast and into a spectacular redwood forest with stream.
