D'chez eux, Restaurant in Paris
It's hard to believe, but this classic French bistrot in Paris is not mentioned frequently in travel guides and reviews. However, if you have not had a chance to visit this restaurant, do yourself a favor - you will not regret it - go there! If our words are not enough to convince you, just think that many celebrities and important people from Jacques Chirac to Jerry Lewis frequented this place. It's very friendly and has excellent food specializing in the cuisine of Southwest France (you will find also a large selection of wines like Madiran, Cahors and Chinon from the Rhone and Loire valleys). Add to this, prices are relatively low; for 140€ -180€ (year 2007) you will have an excellent dinner for two with a good vine - a dinner for which in other places you will pay 450€ - 550€.
The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting, service is excellent. So, if the Carré d'agneau rôti servi avec le farçon savoyard and Salade de foie gras à l'Armagnac sounds good enough for you, go to D'chez eux, 2, avenue Lowendal 75007 Paris.
