Here is the list of several off the beaten track, mostly inexpensive restaurants with main courses prices from 10€ to 35€. The list is a result of a research based on personal experiences. Many of these places do not appear in travel guides. In fact, if they do, that would be a very strong factor for not including one or another restaurant into the list. We have tried to select places visited by locals.

However, we should add that creating a list like this is a very difficult thing to do. Firstly, any judgement regarding eating is very subjective. Second, restaurants come and go, and, in addition, they are sold and bought, and with new owners often come a lot of changes. Finally, it's very difficult to establish strict criteria - one place may have excellent chef, but service may be poor, and of course, it's very important always to take into account the value for the buck issue. So, the point is that this list is a compromise - we expect that most people will enjoy the experience, but we do not expect that there will be consensus on each and every list entry.
