Despite the fact that the bag can hold a lot of garments, parking and unpacking are surprisingly fast if you keep all your clothing on hangers. You just put it into the bag first on one side and then on another. To unpack, you do the opposite: it takes literally minutes to do this, and you stuff is in perfect order in a hotel closet ready to be used. Tip: consider using dry cleaning wire hangers for at least some items. There is a hanging hook (stored in a separate small pocket) that can be used to hang the bag thus facilitating packing. However, because of hanger brackets on both sides of the bag, I think the best and fasted way to pack is just by placing the bag on the floor.

The design, construction and sizing of the bag are very smart. If you put your clothing with enough care inside the bag (spreading it evenly without folds), you will find that after spending 10 -12 hours inside the bag, many dresses or suites will not need any pressing. Just take them out and leave hanged for an hour or so - and voilà, you are ready to go. I think this is due to the larger size of the bag as well as its internal zip curtain (and tie-down strap) that allows for covering all the inside of the bag before closing it.

There are enough pockets inside and outside the bag: two mesh shoulder pockets on one side inside the bag as well as zip compartment inside - very convenient and safe for shoes and other items you may be particularly concerned about. When you bring your garment bag home, you will find a rather big laundry bag in this compartment. By the way, the internal curtain I mentioned above has more zip pockets for organizing nicely your belongings. There are two large U-zip pockets and two more smaller zip pockets outside the bag.

Long Wheeled Garment Bag is made from an extremely strong nylon including very durable nylon zippers. Telescopic handle (there is also a top carry handle and an additional strap for add-on bags) is very robust and smooth. The bag is protected in all vulnerable places by additional nylon shields.

Before making a decision to buy Long Wheeled Garment Bag, consider its smaller version which Tumi calls Wheeled Garment Bag - note the absence of the word "long." Indeed, the size of this bag is 19" x 24.5" x 11.5" (HxWxD). As you can see its height is 4.5 inches smaller which makes it less bulky. However, with the smaller size comes less convenience - it has only one hanger bracket (on one side of the bag). In reality, this seemingly minor difference is a big deal and effectively eliminates many advantages of the longer version. Add to this, the difference in price is only $50. All this tells me that most travelers will choose the full version of the bag over its minor brother.
